A beautiful slab from 1769.

This isn't a cross, technically speaking, it's a cross base, so it's clear that a high cross would have stood here in the past.
The cross base is a stone socket which is 43 centimetres long and 38 centimetres wide, 24 centimetres high, not a big cross base, so the cross itself would have been not big.
The walls of a building, likely the church of this religious site, are still visible, though very overgrown.
Other interesting grave slabs from the 18th century are in this forgotten site. The dirt track that leads to this old graveyard is absolutely not suitable for a car!

This was our last visit for the year 2015.
