The red and yellow stick is 1 metre long, for scale.


Next to St. John's church and the school in Ballymore Lower, just off the N56 there's this tomb in terrible conditions.
The grass was too high to make it out properly, what we saw here were some upright stones and a huge stone that might have been the capstone. This is 3 metres long and 1.70 metres wide. Its axis is perfectly aligned north-south.
Muckish mountain stands out at the horizon to the west.
