A crow kept me under strict control.


This Augustinian friary was founded in 1457 by Hugh O'Malley and was dedicated to St. Patrick. Some of his relics were preserved in this church.
The only surviving parts of the original friary are the church itself, some of the domestic buildings, the dormitory and the chapter house. The cloister is gone. The church had a tower to the west end, but it collapsed in the 18th century. Two carved heads can be seen one on the east wall, left of the large five-light window, and one on the south wall.
