The holed cross at the entrance. This is the east face. I wonder if the coordinates for the cross are this sharp for a reason.

From the car park we walked east for 120 metres. The first thing we saw was this small and plain cross on our left-hand side. It's 1.18 metres tall, 40 centimetres wide at its head and 25 at the base, the thickness is around 15 centimetres. The head has a hole in it with a diameter of 8 centimetres. On the east face of the cross there's an inscription from 1861, but the cross itself is clearly much older.
The coordinates for this cross are very sharp, I wonder if there's a reason for it.
The remains of the Layd church are 40 metres north from the cross.
