The well house has been erected in 1862.

Across the road from Tellarought Castle is this holy well dedicated to St. Brigid.
A small round-headed house has been built in 1862 above the well, with a small opening towards the northeast (40°). On the top of the house there is a small Fleur-de-Lis cross to which a St. Brigid's cross has been tied. To the southeast of the house, and parallel to the road, there's a low wall with holy images and offerings left by visitors.
The water in the well is dirty. Anyway it is said it has curative powers.

The holy well isn't marked on th OS Map.
