Seen from roughly the east.

The holy well dedicated to St. Cronan is situated at the foot of a rocky outcrop, about 90 metres south from Templecronan church.
A circular stone enclosure surrounds a small area with the well in the northwest corner and a standing stone at the centre of a low mound. The access to the enclosure is in the west (270°) side.
The water is clear and fresh.
