The standing stone is on a private land and on a slope towards Broughderg River.

This impressive standing stone stands on a gentle slope towards Broughderg River.
It's on a private land behind a rusty gate.
The stone is 2.54 metres high, 1.40 metres wide and 48 centimetres thick with its main axis aligned north-northeast to south-southwest (25°-205°).

Nearby, in an adjacent field, at about 125 metres east-southeast is Aghascrebagh Ogham Stone, and from here, looking northeast across the valley, Dun Ruadh is clearly visible.
