The circle stands on a low mound. Seen from the southwest.

This tomb is outside the area of the main group of tombs near the visitors' centre and is in a private field far from the road.

To reach this site we had to go over a field gate and walk about 250 metres west, across the field where some cows were grazing. We tried not to disturb them. We also tried to find the land owner, we rang all the houses in the area and also asked a couple of persons we met on the road. We didn't find anybody and so in we went.

This stone circle consists of 42 stones over a diameter of about 18 metres on the north-south axis.

We came here for the first time on May 4th, 1997, when the tree in the centre of the circle wasn't there, and the place was overgrown with gorse!
