The Tau Cross is among the other stones and grave markers poking out the ground around the tree.

In the abandoned graveyard at Carrownaseer North there's a Tau Cross which is mostly interred in the soil. Only its two arms stand above the ground.
They open at 51 centimetres of width, the cross sticks out of the ground for 32 centimetres and it's 10 centimetres.
In the same field there are many other rough burial markers and the hint of a medieval church.

Under a tree there's a 1.30 metres long stone slab with the clear outline of a Greek cross engraved on it and whose arms are 32 centimetres long.

The Tau Cross is at 30 metres from the gate of a private field. On the gate there was the usual "Beware of Bull" sign and this time the bull was really there. So we asked the first house and they were the landowners. They were so kind to move the bull and all the cows in the next field so that we were able to wander in the graveyard with no risk. Thanks!
