The clochán at the northwest end of the enclosure.

Inside an oval stone enclosure, three dwelling structures can be found. These structures are known with the name of Clocháns or Beehive Huts.
Two huts at this site are incomplete and are in a smaller rectangular stone enclosure. The third hut is at the northwest end of the main enclosure and is complete.
This hut has the entrance which is 1.15 metres high and is facing southeast (120°). It has an ellipitcal internal shape with the longer diameter of about 3 metres.
The outline of another rectangular enclosure or structure can be seen against the east (80°) wall of the main enclosure.
At the entrance of the settlement, in the east (90°) wall of the main enclosure, there's a large stone slab incised with a cross.
Unfortunately this time the site was undergoing restoration works and the access to the two incomplete huts was impossible.

We came here for the first time on June 9th, 2001, and I have to admit that I remembered the place differently. I think that one of the two huts in the inner enclosure has been disassembled during these restoration works.
