The red and yellow stick is 1 metre long, for scale.


I think this one is a typical wayside cross.
It's crude, and its arms and head are just a hint of them. It stands on a stone base under a whitethorn tree. It measure 1.08 metres in height, the shaft is 40 centimetres wide and the arms are 57 centimetres wide. It's only 10 centimetres thick.
The side that faces the road looks to the east (85°).

The grass in the field was higher than my knees and was wet from the rain of the day before.
