The simple but lovely wedge tomb seen from the northwest.

This wedge tomb is almost in the middle of a bogland where the turf cutting is in progress. It's invisible from the road and it isn't signposted.
It's the typical box-like tomb so common in the area of the Burren. It has two vertical thin slabs to make the walls and a thin, only 25 centimetres of thickness, roofstone.
The tomb measures 1.30 metres of height, 2 metres of width and 3.20 metres of length. The entrance faces west-northwest (285°).
The inner face of the left-hand side stone has parallel vertical grooves and ripples on its surface.
