The row of wells seen from the north.

From the car park there are 43 steps down to this site.
The Temple Cooey's holy well is a row of three different springs alligned north-south.
The first well, the southernmost one, is named Wash, the second one, 1 metre further north, is named Eyes, and 10 metres further north there's the third well that is named Drink.
Under a shelter there's a little altar where visitors leave their prayers and there'a also the usual rag-tree.
All around an unearthly peace. The only sounds are the singing of the birds and the whisper of the wind.
