The cross shaft and its base stand on a low mound and are hidden behind some trees.

In a field on the west side of the road between Kiltyclogher and the B52 to Garrison is this nice cross shaft placed on a trapezoidal base, both set on a low mound.

Actually only the lower section of the cross shaft survives, and this section is shorter than the base on which it stands.
It's 59 centimetres high, 35 centimetres wide and 15 centimetres thick. The base is 73 centimetres high and 71 centimetres wide at the ground level.
A double groove carving runs along the edges on the northwest (320°) side, all the other sides appear to be plain.
A crack runs diagonally at half height of the shaft.

Nothing else is known about this cross fragment.
