Croaghbeg court tomb seen from the hill road, west of the holy well.

Hidden below the level of the road on a side or R263 is the St. Kieran's holy well.
It's protected by and enclosed in an ugly concrete wall. There are some concrete steps down to a hole in the ground, covered with stone slabs and concrete.
A crude timber shrine has been erected in front of the well. Inside it a funny statue, similar to the one at the Turas 7 in Glencolumbkille, representing St. Kieran, has been placed.
Next to the well is a vertical block of stone where visitors can scratch a cross on it.

In the distance towards southwest, Shalwy and Croaghbeg court tombs are clearly visible.
