The motte seen from the northeast (60°). A bailey could have been on the opposite side.


The motte at Killalon is on a private land. I couldn't find anyone or any access in the stone wall, so I took some photos and the coordinates for this page from the road.
The motte dates to the 12th century. It had a timber fortification on the flat top and it probably had a bailey to the northwest.
