The light at the end of the gallery is the entrance.

This isn't the first souterrain that I have visited, but it's the first one that I include in my database as a stand-alone souterrain.

It's about 28 metres long and has a slightly curved plan with three side chambers, the first and small one on the southwest side, the other two are larger and are on the northeast side of the gallery.
The passage is narrow and low, it's a bit difficult to walk along it without the risk of banging your heads in the ceiling. The walls have been built with the dry-stone method, the roof is lintelled.
The passage and the side chambers are lit with lights operated by a button and a timer at the entrance. More buttons are along the gallery, should the visitors be caught by the darkness during their visit. Unfortunately on the day of my visit some light bulbs were blown out.

I wasn't too impressed by this souterrain, probably I wasn't prepared enough for such a site.
