The holy well is a coloured spot in the verge.

Along a local road south of the village of Tyrrelspass there's this nice and well mantained holy well, dedicated to St. Stephen. Two stone parapets have been built on the sides of a narrow passage down to the water. On the outer sides of the parapets two flower beds have been planted. A wrought iron arcade is over the well, a flower pot is hanging form it, too low for any person, though. I banged my head against it both going down to the water and coming back. The water is rather clear but many larvae can be seen swimming in it.
The passage leads to the well towards northwest (300°).
