The stone row seen from the top of the hill between Lough Salt, in the background, and Lough Greenan, at my back.

Three stones are set in a row over a hill between Lough Salt and Lough Greenan, in a wild part of county Donegal.
The stones are aligned on a northeast-southwest (40°-220°) axis for a total length of about 4.20 metres.

The tallest stone is at the southwest end of the alignment, and it measures 1.23 metres of height, 73 centimetres of width and 25 centimetres of thickness.
The second stone is 1.32 metres to the northeast, and is 87 centimetres tall, 48 centimetres wide and 24 centimetres thick.
The third stone is 1.26 metres further northeast, it is 60 centimetres tall, 39 centimetres wide and 14 centimetres thick. The ground around this stone has been dug to reveal it, so it is likely that it was originally below the ground level or just poking out.

The light during my visit was magic, with a yellowish hue. The wind up there was crazy and cold, though!
