The top of the hill in the graveyard, where the ancient church once was.

We wish to thank Jim for taking us to this site that we didn't know of.

This huge and thick grave slab lies on the ground of a graveyard where a medieval church once was.
On its upper surface, under a layer of moss, a cross is carved in bas-relief.
The shaft of this cross sits on a square base, a solid wheel is at the intersection of the arms.

The slab is aligned east-northeast to west-southwest (70°-250°), the head is pointing to west-southwest. It's 2.14 metres long, 1 metre wide at the head and 74 centimetres wide at the base, and it's 23 centimetres thick, and it is known with the name of Kilgorman Cross.
